Lamination

Metal Lamination Process

Overview of Metal Lamination

Metal lamination is an eco-friendly surface treatment technology that directly bonds pre-extruded non-toxic thermoplastic films (such as PET, PP, or PE) onto ETP or TFS substrates using high-temperature and high-pressure physical heat-sealing.

Solvent-Free & Eco-Friendly:

The lamination process is 100% solvent-free and emits zero VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). It eliminates high-temperature baking ovens, significantly reducing energy consumption.

Special Optical Finishing

We provide custom holographic surface finishing for both ETP and TFS substrates. By integrating precision metal printing with specialized optical film/stamping technologies, the metal surface exhibits vibrant rainbow lusters and dynamic 3D visual effects under varying light angles.

Process Implementation:

Holographic Lamination:

Laminating holographic PET films [e.g., rainbow pattern, cat-eye, plain hologram, or geometric grids] onto the metal sheet, combining anti-corrosion protection with high visual impact.

Holographic Stamping & Spot Hologram: Applying spot holographic stamping to brand logos or specific design areas for premium packaging, achieving both anti-counterfeiting functionality and artistic appeal.

PET Laminated ETP / TFS

Structural Features:
Single or double-side laminated with polyether film [PET], typically 12−25 μm thick. Available in clear, white glossy, gold, or custom color films.

Key Applications:
Widely used for deep-drawn cans [DRD], easy-open ends [EOE], fancy boxes, gift tins, and premium beverage cans, offering excellent scratch resistance and visual appeal.)

PP / PE Laminated ETP / TFS

Structural Features:
Laminated with polypropylene [PP] or polyethylene [PE] modified films, providing exceptional film toughness, high elongation, and superior chemical resistance.

Key Applications:
Specifically designed for aggressive food products [e.g., aerosol cans, acidic juice, tomato paste, seafood, and meat cans], outperforming conventional liquid coatings in corrosion resistance.
