0ETP & TFS Coil Guide
Coils — ETP & TFS
Steel coils provide a continuous raw material supply designed for high-speed,
automated uncoiling, slitting, coating, and stamping lines. Ideal for large-scale
manufacturers looking to optimize operational efficiency.![]()

ETP Coils:
Features excellent weldability and metallic luster. Preferred by large can-making
facilities with continuous slitting and welding lines for 3-piece can bodies.
TFS Coils:
Offers superior lacquer adhesion and cost advantages. Ideal for continuous
stamping of crown caps, twist-off caps, and DRD (Drawn & Redrawn) 2-piece
deep-drawing lines.
With a year-round standing inventory of 10,000 metric tons i
n our factory, we guarantee immediate dispatch from stock
with zero lead time!

Manufacturing Process
Both ETP and TFS share the same substrate preparation steps from steelmaking
to cold rolling (Black Plate - BP), but diverge at the electroplating stage.
Common Process for Black Plate - BP
Steelmaking & Continuous Casting:
Smelting low-carbon or ultra-low-carbon steel into slabs.
Hot Rolling & Pickling:
Hot-rolling into steel strips and pickling to remove surface oxide scale.
Cold Rolling:
Precision cold-rolling down to target thickness, typically 0.15mm – 0.50mm.
Annealing:
Restoring ductility via Continuous Annealing [CA] or Batch Annealing [BA] to determine temper grade.
Double Cold Reduction / Temper Rolling:
Controlling final hardness, surface flatness, and surface finishes.

ETP Electro-Tinplating Line
Pre-treatment:
Electrolytic degreasing, pickling, and thorough rinsing.
Electro-Tinplating:
Depositing pure tin onto steel strip in electroplating baths.
Reflowing:
Induction heating above tin's melting point followed by rapid quenching to form a bright alloy layer.
Passivation & Oiling:
Chromate passivation and electrostatic oiling with food-grade lubricant.
TFS Electro-Chromium Line
Pre-treatment:
Electrolytic degreasing and acid pickling.
Electro-Plating:
Depositing a dual layer of Metallic Chromium and Hydrated Chromium Oxide simultaneously.
Rinsing & Drying:
Direct multi-stage rinsing and hot-air drying without reflowing.
Oiling:
Electrostatic coating with protective oil before slitting or coiling
